  • Rally Cars Arrive in Gouger Street - Dozens of Rally Cars filtered into Gouger Street to showcase their beautiful rides, following a tough day racing through the Adelaide Hills.
  • Old Meets New - Beautiful classic cars were a lovely contrast to the modern racing cars lining up along the length of Gouger Street.
  • Porche drew the enthusiasts - The line of Porche rally cars outside the Talbot Hotel were very popular and certainly brightened Gouger Street even more!
  • Gouger Street - Adelaide - Party Time - The Classic Adelaide Street Party is a favourite drawing crowds from far and wide.
  • Check out the Wheels - Plenty of opportunity to view the rally cars from Grote Street running down Moonta Street, Chinatown.
  • Chinatown Comes Alive as well - There were so many Classic Adelaide Rally Cars on show, they over-spilled to also stretch along the length of Moonta Street .. Chinatown Adelaide.
  • Come One - Come All - follow me to the cars! - A very tall man - Scott Griffin was on hand to show people to the Classic Rally Cars down Gouger Street!
  • Moonta Street came alive - There was hardly enough space in Adelaide to fit all the Classic Adelaide Rally cars.
  • Meet the Drivers - Plenty of opportunity to meet and have a chat to the Rally Drivers.
  • Brazillian Samba Dancers - Brazillian Samba Dancers entertained the crowds along Gouger Street.
  • Colourful Costumes - This Adelaide night might have started with light rain - but our Brazillian Samba Dancers soon brightened up Gouger Street.
  • All Ages Enjoy the Rally - No matter your age, everyone seemed to love wandering amongst the cars. Some creative umbrella work kept those classic cockpit's dry in the early part of the evening.
  • Not a Party without Balloons! - What party would be complete without the Kids getting a balloon!
  • Gouger Street Pumping - Undoubtedly one of Adelaide's great cafe and restaurant strips - Gouger Street restauranteurs were pumping as the aroma's wafted over the crowd browsing the Classic Adelaide Rally cars along the road.
  • Rally Cars meet Restaurants - Alfresco was the way to go in Gouger Street - so many cafes to grab a bite to eat as you make your way along the row of Classic Adelaide rally cars parked down the street.

The opening of the Classic Adelaide Car Rally came to Gouger Street on the night of Friday 16th October with 150 rally cars and exotic vehicles lining the street from Morphett Street to the Central Market Car Park and spilling into Moonta Street.

Rain unfortunately stopped the parade of Formula 1 cars along Grote Street into Gouger Street but motoring fans, families and city office workers enjoyed the festive sporting atmosphere and were entertained by Brazilian dancers, the Adelaide Pipe Band, roaming performers and buskers.

Many stayed on to enjoy dinning on one of Adelaide's most popular eating strips.
