Construction for the Pitt Street Upgrade is part of the Market to Riverbank link project.  

Key features include two-way access, wider footpaths, outdoor dining, trees,raised southern roadway, removable bollards, two access parking spaces.

Works may take place between 7am - 5pm Monday to Saturday with no works occurring on Sundays.  

Construction works are on target for completion in July 2024 with tree planting, line marking and installation of signage..  

Pitt Street will remain open for business and will continue to be accessible.
