Congratulations to the Grote Business Precinct Association on reaching an incredible milestone — 25 years of dedicated service, growth, and community leadership in the heart of Adelaide!

Thank you to The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Dr Jane Lomax-Smith AM, Councillors and the City of Adelaide for hosting a warm and memorable Civic Reception at the beautiful Adelaide Town Hall to honour this special milestone!

Well done to all involved - particularly the strong leadership by eight Presidents, Immediate Past President, Bill Marles and current President Cathy Chong, Precinct Coordinator Yvonne Merendi, who celebrates 20 years of service in 2025 !!!!! Extraordinary Achievement!

Since its establishment in 2000, the Grote Business Precinct has grown into one of Adelaide's most vibrant commercial and cultural hubs — home to over 400 local businesses, including retail outlets, restaurants , cafes, multicultural eateries, grocers, family-run shops, and professional services. Anchored by the Adelaide Central Market and Chinatown, the business precinct reflects the rich diversity and entrepreneurial spirit of our city.
